Continuing with the theme of my first post for this new page, this prayer was initially published in The Little Book of Bird Prayers before being reprinted in The Animal Lover’s Daily Prayer Book. It reminds us of the need to constantly seek and expect fresh insights in our continuing journey of faith.
Instead of settling, Lord, for a superficial faith,
may I dig deeper,
looking always to discover new delights,
fresh food for my soul.
Amen.
