Are you struggling to pray during the continuing coronavirus pandemic? Are you looking for prayers to help articulate something of what you want to say; to express your hopes and fears, concerns and feelings? If you are, you may have made use of my free e-book For Such a Time as This, which I know many downloaded over the last month from the Kevin Mayhew website. But are you aware that, having posted all these on my site, I am now posting new prayers each day as a continuing response to the crisis? The decline in views over this past week may suggest that some of you are unaware that this is new material, aimed to help and encourage you in your personal devotions as well as to provide a resource for those leading worship in some way. I don’t think I can ask or expect Kevin Mayhew Ltd to produce another e-book, but – assuming there is still sufficient interest, and that very much depends on you – I hope in time to produce the prayers I’m currently writing as a PDF, which I’ll be very happy to email to you if you contact me via my Contact page on this site. I’ll let you have further details in due course. In the meantime, could I ask you to share details of this resource, and my site, with as many of your friends, colleagues and fellowship as possible, so as to make the time and energy in writing and posting worth it? Many thanks.
Dear Nick,
I have been helped and blessed by the prayers you have published, and would appreciate being kept on your Contact list for future prayers. May God bless you as you continue to bless others. Many thanks.
Thank you so much Elizabeth. It’s lovely to hear from you, and to receive such encouragement. I’ll certainly let you know when I’ve put together the current prayers into a PDF. Very best wishes. Nick
Hi Nick, couldn’t get the download to install 🙁 the link they provided to a website didn’t work either! Will look at the other prayers though. Been using your prayers off and on for 20 years – thank you! Stay safe.
Sorry you’ve had problems with the download, Mark. Did you download a free e-reader first? It won’t work without it. Let me know if you’re still having problems and I’ll try to sort it. And thanks for your kind words; delighted you’ve found my material useful over so many years. Stay safe and and well too.
