This infection I’m wrestling with is proving tough in every sense: tough to identify, tough to treat and tough to cope with. I’ll be undergoing a bronchoscopy on Wednesday to try to pin down the problem. Meanwhile, I’m on a course of antibiotics so strong it’s just about wiped me out. Five times the usual dose, every six hours, morning and night, and leaving me with an intense feeling of nausea every day. Pray the latter may pass and that I find the strength to eat a little. I know I need to but the very thought makes me feel even more unwell. As I feared, it’s going to be a long haul.
All the best for your bronchosopy on Wednesday, Nick. I hope it provides some answers and that it’s something easily and quickly treatable.
Sorry to hear this, I will continue to pray for you, for courage and strength to beat this infection and also the people treating you and family supporting you
Praying for healing, that the medication does what it should do, that the nausea passes and for physical and emotional strength; for God’s peace and comfort to surround you. God bless you, Nick. xx
So tough for you Nick, and you are an experienced Battle Hardened “patient”. I hope and pray for a better outcome soon for you
