I don’t know about you, but I’ve always enjoyed quizzes. It’s good to have our minds stretched occasionally, and even more fun to do so in competition with others, whether light-heartedly or in a more serious contest. A quiz can help us to get a better grasp of what we know and what we don’t. All of which lies behind why, some years ago now, I put together two Bible quiz books; one – aimed for children as well as adults – called Who Knows? and the other titled Ask Me Another. The aim of both was to give readers the opportunity to enhance their biblical knowledge in a fun, non-intensive way. Attempting the quizzes in these books, and learning from the answers, will soon promote greater familiarity with the people, places, stories and events recorded in Scripture.
This week’s promotional discount, then, is on my 2007 fun quiz book Ask Me Another. Suitable for all ages, it offers a great way not only of testing your Bible knowledge but also of developing it further. Normally retailing at £15.99, this week, until 25 September, you can purchase it at a 10 per cent discount – a saving of £1.60 – using the code ASK10 when ordering the book from the Kevin Mayhew website. Just type the code into the relevant box at the checkout between the dates given.
Meanwhile, here’s the first of seven sessions I’ll be posting this week from the book, to run alongside this promotion. Answers in each case will be supplied on the following day.
