I’m sure many of us particularly enjoy feeding the birds at this time of year, when finding sufficient food can be a problem for them. That set me thinking when I was preparing my book The Animal Lover’s Daily Prayer Book, and the following little prayer was the result.
Time and again, Lord, in time of trouble,
you have stretched out your hand
and provided for my needs.
For the constancy of your care,
thank you.
Amen.
