I had a wonderful bonus today of hearing from my consultant that no cancer marker is showing in my latest blood results, which is truly astonishing when I was effectively told early last summer to prepare for the worst. The cancer is still there, of course, but for the present it’s in excellent remission, the drug that I’m currently taking working better than all expectations, so it gives me yet another reason, among so many others, to give thanks and celebrate.
