On behalf not just of myself, but also Myeloma UK, a big thank you to my nephew Ben, who this morning completed the Exeter half-marathon (https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ben-thomas76) in the amazing time of 1 hour 44 minutes – a marvellous effort and the result of a lot of hard training over many months in readiness for the big day. Deborah and I were privileged to be there with Lindsay, his wife, and her father, to support Ben and watch him come in to the finishing line, exhausted but triumphant. And as if to celebrate in advance, my results from the consultant this week were excellent. the best thery’ve been for years. Here are a few pictures.
