Who are we to to judge?

Judging others. It’s something we all counsel against, all dislike in others, all feel is wrong … and all do, time and again. ‘Who are we to judge?’ we say, but all too often that doesn’t stop us doing just that at the earliest possible opportunity. We simply can’t help ourselves. The following audio recording, taken from the second CD in my ‘ How to Pray’ series, Expressing Our Sorrow (see here for more recordings), asks God’s pardon for the many times we have condemned and criticised the faults of others while steadfastly failing to see our own. Who are we to judge, indeed?
