It’s been a really nasty infection (they even thought it might be coronavirus for a time, so similar are some of the features) but I should be home tomorrow morning. As I thought, it’s pneumonia, albeit a rare form, and it will probably be quite a time before I shake off the breathlessness I’ve been experiencing for several weeks. So grateful, though, to the wonderful staff of Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, and for our amazing NHS, to whom I owe so much.
