I’m delighted to say that my cancer treatment with the new myeloma drug Belantamab went ahead earlier in the month, and that so far it seems to be working; I’m feeling better than I have for a long time. Equally encouraging, this morning I had a consultation with the ophthalmologist and, as yet, there is no discernible eye damage caused by the drug, meaning that my second infusion has been approved for this Wednesday afternoon. I’m hugely grateful to be able to receive this treatment, which hopefully will give me remission for another year, perhaps more.
