Here’s another new coronavirus prayer, to help support and encourage you during the continuing crisis.
I looked for solutions, Lord,
but struggled to see beyond the problems.
I looked for signs of hope,
but saw far more cause for concern.
I looked for signs of change,
but saw simply more of the same.
I looked for a return to normality,
but saw continuing upheaval.
I looked for reasons to look forward,
but saw only a future full of turmoil.
I looked for evidence that the threat is subsiding,
but there were still too many in hospital.
I looked for proof that the battle is nearly won,
but people were still dying.
I looked to you, Lord,
and found peace,
strength,
hope,
joy,
even in the darkest moments.
Thank you that,
come what may,
you are there.
