Here’s a lighter prayer than some of those posted this week, but it has a serious message. Taken from my title The Animal Lover’s Daily Prayer Book, it calls us to be open to all, enriched rather than divided by our differences.
However different others may be, Lord,
however less like me they may seem,
teach me to look beyond prejudice and stereotypes
and to approach all with an open mind.
Amen.
