Disappointingly, I’m feeling worse at the moment rather than better. The temperature is stable but the breathlessness is more severe than ever. The doctor has issued me today with a second course of antibiotics, which will make four fourteen days in all. They’ve taken away my appetite completely and made me feel generally nauseous, but they should, I think, do the job. In the meantime, I just have to be patient; recovery, this time round, isn’t something that can be rushed.
