I finally came home from hospital yesterday afternoon and had my first good sleep last night for a week. It looks as though it’s the RSV that’s made me so ill. Relatively harmless to most adults, it’s potentially lethal for anyone with a compromised immune system like me. At the moment, everything – even talking – is quite an effort, leaving me breathless and coughing, but hopefully as the congestion clears, I’ll gradually pick up. Please think of my wife, Deborah, at this time, for whom this is such a scary and testing time.
Glad you’re home, Nick. Nothing like being in your own bed. Continuing to pray for both yourself and Deborah. xx
Glad to know you’re home, makes such a difference, doesn’t it? Love and oodles of encouragement to Deborah (and family) it is so difficult being the one holding everything and everybody together, not to say tiring and draining too. In those situations this is where Inwould mutter, constantly to myself ” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (hope the quote was right?!!
God Bless you both and prayers for a full and speedy recovery. x
Good to hear that you are home, you will feel better being in your own home.
Our prayers are with you and Deborah and your family. Keep smiling.
God Bless
Christine and Brian xx
